About Me

Ioana Capușan (born 1992) is an architect and interior designer from Cluj-Napoca who enriched her creative repertoire through the exploration of painting. She began painting out of a desire to bring life to her interiors and to share with others the joy of living.

She paints what she feels, what inspires her, in vibrant colors, passing through her romantic filter various scenes of nature and flowers, many flowers. Trying to rellinquish the illusion of perfection and embrace the beauty of human imperfection, she distorts the landscape and plays like a child with the canvas. She plays similarly with space when it comes to interior design, exploring and mixing colors, emotions, and styles in a characteristic way.

Ioana is a sensitive and joyful person, and this can be observed in most of her works. She feels that nowadays there is a profound need to convey emotions and to return to authentic connections with those around us, with nature, and with the space in which we live and spend our time. That’s why she wants to leave a part of her soul in what she creates, hoping that both she and others will feel closer to the essence, to the inner light.
